FEE POLICY

Dr Angelo Preketes operates a private billing practice. All clinical and administrative
activities are guided by the principles of continuity of care, transparent fees and
service delivery, and informed patient consent. We recognise that circumstances
may change and have established the following cancellation, rescheduling and
refund arrangements to support fair access to consultations and surgical bookings.

 

Consultation Fees

• A deposit of $150 is payable at the time of booking to secure a consultation
  for any cosmetic procedure, whether the procedure is subsequently
  considered medically necessary or not medically necessary. This includes, but
  is not limited to, breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift,
  abdominoplasty, belt lipectomy, blepharoplasty, brachioplasty, liposuction,
  otoplasty and medial thigh lift.
• The deposit is strictly non-refundable if the patient does not attend the
  scheduled consultation.
• Patients who wish to cancel or reschedule a consultation must provide at least
  72 hours’ notice.
• Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 72 hours’ notice
  may incur a cancellation fee.
• Consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has taken place.
• The practice operates under a private billing model. Fees are determined
  according to the type, duration and complexity of each consultation or service.
• Patients will be provided with information about applicable fees before any
  service or treatment, enabling informed financial consent.
• Fees may be reviewed periodically to reflect changes in operating costs,
  practitioner qualifications or regulatory requirements.

 

Surgical Bookings Fee & Deposit's

A non-refundable deposit equal to 10% of Dr Preketes’ surgical fee is payable when
the hospital surgical consent documentation is issued. Payment of the deposit is
required to secure the proposed surgical date. The remaining balance of Dr
Preketes’ surgical fee must be paid in full no later than five business days before the
scheduled surgery date.

 

Refunds

• Refunds are not ordinarily provided for a change of mind.
• A refund will be considered where required under Australian Consumer Law
  or in other circumstances agreed directly with the practice.
• Consultation and surgical fees reflect the professional time, expertise and resources provided and are non-refundable once the relevant services have been delivered.

 

Rescheduling

• The practice will use reasonable endeavours to accommodate rescheduling
  requests, subject to appointment and theatre availability.
• Additional charges may apply where insufficient notice is provided or where
  an external provider, such as a hospital or anaesthetist, imposes a fee or
  penalty.

 

Patient Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled appointments on time.
• Provide the notice required under this policy when cancelling or rescheduling
  an appointment.
• Advise the practice promptly of any changes to personal, contact or medical
  information.
• Acknowledge that the practice operates under a private billing model and
  does not offer Medicare bulk billing.
